ONI appoints Grace DeSantis as VP Biology & Chemistry to lead Bioware function
We’re excited to announce that Grace DeSantis has joined ONI as VP Biology & Chemistry. Grace will be driving our Bioware function, and leading our Applications Development and Chemistry teams between Oxford and San Diego.
Grace joins us from her executive R&D role at Illumina, where she oversaw R&D, clinical product innovation and product development for 9 years. Prior to this, Grace was an R&D leader and scientist in multiple earlier stage companies. During her career, Grace has published 25 research articles, has been awarded 20 patent families and has developed 20 products.
‘I am elated to join ONI! The Nanoimager is a breakthrough desktop super-resolution digital microscope poised to make a broad impact in the life sciences. ONI is a well funded organization with a fantastic and growing team of scientists and engineers working to advance and increase access to tools for visualization of cells, subcellular structures, nucleic acids, proteins and their complexes. Accelerating and enhancing our understanding of extracellular vesicles, cells, and molecular complexes will advance drug discovery, oncology and neuroscience projects.’
We’re very excited for Grace to join ONI and our Leadership Team, and we can’t wait to see the impact she will have on our Bioware functions.
