ONI Expands LNP Research Capabilities with Super-Resolution Characterization Service

Oxford Nanoimaging (ONI), a global leader in super-resolution microscopy and single-particle analysis, today announced the launch of its LNP Sample Characterization Service, providing researchers with high-resolution insights into lipid nanoparticle (LNP) formulations.

This end-to-end service leverages ONI’s Aplo Scope and the LNP Profiler Kit with AutoLNP software to characterize LNP samples with single-molecule sensitivity. The service delivers quantitative insights into particle size, cargo loading, ligand positivity, stability, and aggregation, enabling scientists to make confident, data-driven decisions. Samples are run in triplicate, with fast turnaround times and cost-effective “Go/No-Go” quality control steps.

Service Offerings

  • Small Batch (5–9 samples): Ideal for proof-of-concept studies, small batch testing, and initial LNP characterization. Turnaround: 1–2 weeks.
  • Scale-Up (10+ samples): Optimized for method development, formulation comparison, and larger-scale characterization. Turnaround: 2–3 weeks.
  • Tailored (10+ samples): For non-standard particle formulations, cell-based analysis, QC, or high-throughput screening. Turnaround: customized.
