EV sample characterization
Let our experts do the work for you
EV sample characterization service
Our in-house team of experts uses ONI’s Nanoimager super-resolution microscope and EV Profiler kit to characterize extracellular vesicle (EV) samples and determine EV type, size, morphology, and relative abundance. Acceptable biofluids include serum, urine, milk, and liquid biopsies, with additional sources available upon request.
The ONI advantage is an end-to-end solution from sample preparation through imaging, visualization, and data analysis, delivering resolutions down to 20 nm. All samples are run in triplicate and undergo Go/No-Go quality control steps, with a complete report, fast two-week turnaround from sample submission, and a cost-effective characterization solution.

What to expect
We align on study goals, EV source and biofluid type, sample count, and experimental design. Imaging parameters, analysis outputs, and reporting expectations are defined to ensure the data generated meets your scientific and translational objectives.
After analysis is complete, you will meet with an ONI Applications Scientist for a detailed walkthrough of your EV results. This session covers EV size distribution, morphology, relative abundance, and key findings, with time allocated for interpretation, questions, and next-step recommendations.
You will receive a comprehensive summary report with quantified EV data, visualizations, and interpretation. Raw and processed datasets are provided through ONI’s web-based CODI platform, enabling further exploration using ONI workflows and apps.
(Estimated turnaround time: ~2 weeks)
