Webinar | Advances in LNP Characterization: From Formulation to Single-Particle Insights

Download webinar recording

Lipid nanoparticle (LNP) development requires a deep understanding of particle heterogeneity, cargo loading, and ligand engineering to ensure optimal performance and reproducibility. In this webinar, Dr. Liliana Barbieri and Edward Drysdale from ONI explored how single-particle super-resolution microscopy enables direct visualization and quantification of individual LNPs, providing insights into particle size, cargo loading, ligand density, and sample heterogeneity that are difficult to achieve with conventional bulk characterization methods. Through real-world case studies, they demonstrated how these capabilities support formulation optimization, quality control, and the development of more effective RNA therapeutics.
