EV Profiler 2 Selection Tool
EV Profiler 2 is a highly configurable assay for characterizing your EV population at the single vesicle level. Below is a selection tool to assist in recommending the right option for your application. All kits come with the required reagents to capture, fix, permeabilize, and stain EVs as well as the buffers and chips to perform dSTORM allowing quantitation of positivity of up to 3 targets of interest per sample run.
Choose “cancer derived” if your EVs were harvested from cells, biofluids, or tissue samples with cancer. If not, select non-cancer derived.
This option configures the staining reagents. If you want to stain the EV membrane and look at up to 2 additional channels of data (which could range from tetraspanins to your biomarkers of interest) choose “EV membrane staining”. If you just want to profile CD9, CD63, and CD81 select tetraspanins only.
This option configures your EV capture reagents. PS capture (phosphatidylserine) is generally recommended for cancer derived EVs, but you can choose to capture using any single tetraspanin, or use our tet-trio capture reagent which will capture any EV with any tetraspanin on its surface. Each kit will be provided with 3 capture tube options as listed in the table below.
