SLAS 2023 – lab automation in San Diego

ONI had the pleasure of attending the 2023 International SLAS Conference and Exhibition, which gathered 1,200+ researchers and featured more than 300 leading multinational providers of lab technology and products. While keynote talks and seminars took place on the top floor of the Convention Center, with breakout areas overlooking the sunny San Diego harbor, the exhibition was open daily and buzzing with visitors, new exciting products, food, and poster presentations.

The exhibition was an excellent opportunity for our team to talk to scientists and engineers from diverse research areas looking for the latest technology to take their science to the next level. The ONI team showcased our benchtop super-resolution workflow, which lowers the barrier for scientists with different microscopy expertise to use single-molecule localization microscopy. We imaged samples with the Nanoimager at our booth and showed our consumables and cloud-based software solutions.

More interestingly, we brought the latest prototype of our microfluidic platform, which will help scientists looking to automate sample preparation and imaging workflows. There was excitement around our booth to see the platform in action and speak to our team of engineers on site. 

SLAS is the place to learn about the latest lab and the future of automation… there were even robots guessing your age down the corridor from our booth! We look forward to joining SLAS in 2024, which will take place in Boston from Feb 3 through Feb 7 – save the date on your diaries!
