Win 2 months with the Nanoimager super-resolution microscope

ONI is delighted to announce that the first winner of the Nanoimager competition is Dr. Franz Ricklefs of University Medical Center Hamburg-Eppendorf for his proposal to investigate extracellular vesicles as biomarkers in neuro-oncology.

Rules of the competition

Eligibility criteria

The applicant(s) may be an academic researcher (faculty, postdoc, fellow, PhD student) or a scientist in industry.

The applicant(s) and their team must be able to provide the resources required to conduct the project for its whole duration, i.e. staff, biological materials, access to other necessary equipment, etc.

The applicant(s) and their institution will enter a Collaboration Agreement with ONI for the duration of the project according to terms acceptable for both parties.

The start date of the project should be no later than the 5th January 2020.

Selection process and timeline

  • 25 April 2019 - Online form submission opens
  • 10 June 2019 (at 2359 PST) - Online form submission close
  • 20 June 2019 - Shortlisted applications are invited for a teleconference interview
  • 20 July 2019 - Winners announced
